- 1 & ½ Cups Fresh Grapefruit Juice
- 1 Cup Fresh Orange Juice
½ Cup Simple Syrup
4 Cups Water
2 Oz Vodka
1 Oz St. Germain Liqueur
1 Egg White
1 Handful of Ice
Orange Slice for Garnish
Fresh Mint for Garnish
How to the prepare the St. Germain cocktail
We’ll be the first to admit that we love a good cocktail. And, with summer in full swing, we had been looking for recipes that are refreshing and easy to make. This grapefruit and orangeade St. Germain cocktail is the perfect drink for a hot day! It’s light, flavorful, and best of all – pretty easy to make. Give it a try! You won’t regret it.
Step by Step Instructions
Juice 1 ½ cups of fresh grapefruit juice and strain into a large pitcher to remove the pulp.
Juice 1 cup of fresh orange juice and strain into the pitcher to remove the pulp.
Add ½ cup of simple syrup and 4 cups of water. Stir to combine well.
In a cocktail shaker, add ¾ cup of the fresh juice mixture.
Add 2 ounces of vodka to the cocktail shaker.
Add 1 ounce of St. Germain Liqueur to the cocktail shaker.
Add 1 egg white and a handful of ice to the cocktail shaker.
Shake vigorously for 15 seconds and pour into a coupe glass.
Garnish with 1 orange slice and fresh mint.
Note: To elevate the appearance of the cocktail, sprinkle sugar onto the orange slice and brulee with a kitchen torch until the sugar has melted.
